formulator & founder Kate Barrett says..it all starts down under!

I’m a country girl originally from a farm in NSW and my story is pretty simple. Lube makes everything more fun, and I LOVE it!

I’ve had skin dramas and allergies my whole life, I pretty much react to everything, it’s been pretty debilitating and an emotional rollercoaster, but it forced me to start finding natural ways to fix the problemo without drugs, chemicals, hospital visits and ridiculous treatments (I’m talking getting wrapped in cling wrap and bandages daily for years, wearing a welding helmet standing in a microwave & getting burnt, chemo drugs & steroids).

After about the 7th round of antibiotics one year for a “downstairs” issue, I’d had enough and then my obsessive researching mission began. I was always getting infections/irritations. Turns out if you’re using the wrong lube it’s like tossing Kersosene on a fire you’re trying to extinguish… and I had definitely been using the wrong ones, hello! call the fire brigade, beaver town was burning down!

So I researched endlessly the Beavers environment (aka a women’s pussalina), what makes it cranky (i.e. how it operates & what we put in there) and discovered more than a few things about wood (aka men's peni-coladas). I studied chemistry, built a lab then formulated and tested everything under the sun and a few years later we finally have the end product! 

So the past couple of years, it’s been a labour of love, sweat and… thorough testings (ok, oodles of lab tests and my own “testings” to make sure, yep it works, and my beaver is super healthy & finally happy!).
